Curriculum Overview

Jinhua New Oriental Academy (NOA) is committed to improving students’ life-long competitiveness by enabling every student to receive a happy growth experience, become interested in learning, and develop comprehensively in the fields of humanities, scientific spirit, learning to learn, healthy life, responsibility, practice and innovation


In the Kindergarten stage, it adopts the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) as the mainstream curriculum, emphasizing interdisciplinary learning and exploring the world. In the compulsory education stage (G1-9), Jinhua NOA adopts the national curriculum system and integrates global teaching materials and instructional methods, such as International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for primary school years and International Middle Years Curriculum (IEYC) and IGCSE foundation for middle school years. In the high school stage, it adopts the international integrated curriculum system, providing different academic tracks for students to choose according to their academic interests and future plans (A-Level, US Early Entrance Program, and International Arts program).


At the same time, we have four featured academic programs that have been adopted throughout the 12 years of students’ education. They are: Bilingual Reading Program, Project-based Learning Program, Positive Psychology and Well-being Program, Chinese Cultural Program. We believe these consistent learnings can help student to become an initiative reader, who is confidently living an spiritually enriched life and is empowered with cultural confidence.
